We bring the skating floor and roller skates directly to your event for a fun and memorable experience for kids, teens, and adults. Beginners and experienced skaters are welcome!

Our pop-up skating rink is perfect for birthday parties, school and youth events, community events, festivals, corporate and team-building events, fitness activities, private parties, and social gatherings.

Please review the information below in full before booking your event.

📅 BOOKING & PAYMENT

Events must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. Please contact us to verify your event date is available before booking.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due 1 week before your event.

City/Municipal clients: A deposit is not required when the organization's established payment policy requires payment in full through its purchasing or invoicing process.

Online bookings are currently available for weekend events only. For weekday events, school events, municipal events, or special requests, please contact us directly to check availability.

🛼 RINK & SKATE RENTALS

Your skating floor rental includes roller skate rentals.

We carry rental skates from Youth J10 through Adult 13.

If you need roller skates only without a skating floor, please contact us directly for availability and pricing.

Guests may bring their own roller skates. Personal skates must be clean, free of rocks and debris, and have appropriate plugs or toe stops to protect the skating floor.

Socks are required when using our rental skates.

⏰ EVENT TIME, SETUP & BREAKDOWN

Skating Time: 3 hours
Setup: Approximately 3 hours before your event
Breakdown: Approximately 1 hour after your event
Additional Skating Time: $150 per hour

Events begin and end at the scheduled time.

Please make sure The TJ Spot has access to the event space early enough to complete setup before your guests arrive.

💡 LIGHTING & MUSIC

For evening and nighttime events, the client is responsible for providing adequate lighting for the skating and surrounding event area from the beginning through the end of the event.

The TJ Spot does not provide event lighting or music.

DJ recommendations are available upon request.

🌧️ WEATHER & RESCHEDULING

The TJ Spot does not set up or operate the pop-up skating rink in the rain.

If rain affects your outdoor event, you may reschedule your booking to an available date within 1 month of the original event date.

If rain begins before or during setup or while the rink is operating, The TJ Spot reserves the right to delay, stop, or cancel rink setup or skating operations for safety.

All bookings are final. No refunds are issued after booking, including for weather-related cancellations.

Clients have a 48-hour window after booking to request a date change. Approved rescheduled events must take place within the required 1-month timeframe and are subject to availability.

Events held on recognized holidays are subject to a $100 holiday fee.

📝 WAIVERS & SKATING SAFETY

A completed TJ Spot Liability Waiver is required for every participating skater.

Adults 18 and older must complete their waiver. A parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver for participating minors.

Please complete and share the waiver with your guests before the event whenever possible to help make check-in faster.

All participants skate at their own risk.

🚸 Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times.

🛼 Parents and guardians should assist young children and first-time skaters as needed.

❌ No fighting, pushing, tripping, weapons, or unsafe/disruptive behavior.

🥤 No food, drinks, or gum are permitted on the skating floor or within the designated skating area.

The TJ Spot reserves the right to stop anyone from skating when safety rules are not followed.

🎟️ RENTAL SKATE RETURN

Guests using TJ Spot rental skates must return their skates when they are finished skating.

Rental equipment should remain within the designated event and skating area.

The event host is responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged rental skates or equipment during the event.

🚧 BARRICADES

Barricades are optional and determined by the client based on the needs of the event.

If barricades are needed for your event, please notify The TJ Spot so they can be included in your event planning and quote.

🚗 TRAVEL FEES

Travel fees apply to ALL bookings and are based on the distance to your event location:

0–30 miles — $100
31–50 miles — $150
51–70 miles — $250

Events located more than 70 miles away must be approved by The TJ Spot before booking.

For approved events requiring extended travel, additional expenses, including a lodging fee when necessary, will be added to the final invoice.

🛡️ LICENSED & INSURED

The TJ Spot is a fully licensed and insured Florida business.

Insurance documentation and Certificates of Insurance are available upon request. If your venue, school, city, or organization has specific insurance requirements, please notify us in advance.
